once again I am queen of the doofs -- extra copy of Hakan Nesser's Unlucky Lottery for grabs

I've been away a long time, I'm tired, my brain is overly fried from the Booker Prize Longlist and to be quite blunt, I am having trouble remembering which book I'm ordering from which online bookstore.  So now I have an extra copy of Nesser's newest book, The Unlucky Lottery.  If anyone wants it, it's free to you ... just be the first to comment.

    Kathy: I haven't read it, and last night I'm looking on the shelves for The Inspector and Silence (the one published before this one). I thought I had read it eons ago when it first came out, but it's sitting on the Scandinavian crime fiction tbr shelf. So I am going to read that one first. And yes, they are usually very good!

    I've read two and I liked them, the polar opposites of Stieg Larsson or Jo Nesbo's sagas.

    These are tight, focused on one case, with good teamwork.

    But I have to say I find Nesser's sense of humor striking. I'll be reading along and be just stunned by a witty line and I'll have to stop and laugh out loud, often in admiration.

    I have to put his books back on my TBR list
